Profile
Mr. Kucera is a recognized expert in spatial and temporal systems analysis and design. He has provided consulting expertise to government and military organizations in Canada and abroad for 20 years. His experience in spatial information management and analysis spans every aspect of data handling, from acquisition to decision support. Mr. Kucera participates in many government and industry forums, including the Defense Science Advisory Board, the Management Board for GEOIDE Network Centres of Excellence, and the Canadian Standards Board. He has managed teams to deliver robust web-based information-technology architectures, including such national projects as the Canadian National Forest Information System, the National Health Surveillance System, and the Irish Marine Survey.

Mr. Kucera currently consults with several private sector and government agencies including the Rosettex Technology & Ventures Group, MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates, the US National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the US Topographic Engineering Corp, and the Canadian Department of National Defence.
